It is celebrated here in the USA in May and in the UK in April.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3633\" style=\"width: 688px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3633\" class=\"wp-image-3633 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/laylaswoof.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Untitled-design-2026-04-27T094727.098-940x700.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"678\" height=\"505\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-3633\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">This is what keeps me smiling daily<\/p><\/div>\n<p>What are the benefits of having a pet, there are endless benefits but I think the most important ones are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They keep us fit<\/li>\n<li>They make sure you&#8217;re never lonely, especially through hard times and what we have been through the past year<\/li>\n<li>They lower our stress levels \u2013 I try to stay as less stressed as possible, so Nili does not stress out<\/li>\n<li>They can help you make friends, so true as by walking your dog, going to dog parks you are meeting people<\/li>\n<li>They can improve your immune system \u2013 yes they do as keep us healthy in so many ways.<\/li>\n<li>They can stop your children from developing allergies, which is so important plus they teach children compassion and responsibility.<\/li>\n<li>They keep you safe<\/li>\n<li>They can provide companionship to children with learning difficulties<\/li>\n<li>Pets make us happier<\/li>\n<li>Pets help us cope with crisis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I have realized this so much from when I was in the Domestic Violence Relationship how much Baby helped me and I was blessed to have her.<\/p>\n<p>Nili has done the same for me especially the past year \u2013 without her I am not sure where I would be.
