15th July was National Pet Fire Safety Day

Spread the love

TGIF!!!!!!!

Good morning all my friends.

15th of July is an important day, to remind us to keep us pets safe is there a fire. It is so important with what is happening in the world today with climate change, extreme heat and droughts, floods  we need to be prepared as our pets are our family and they depend on us.I am prepared for every disaster, so Nili is fortunate and safe.

Enjoying sunshine, Nili

I have an emergency bag which I check and update every six months, her information is up to date, and we are organized for anything and hopefully your parents are also. But unfortunately, we must remind everyone as people forget or do not believe in climate change, so this is our reminder.

Please be safe everyone, I am now going off to the park to play

With a woof and love from Nili

  1. This is such a critical post! People often don’t think about preparing a disaster bag for their fur kid until it’s too late. Preparation is key, and checking on it, like you do every six months, is essential. Excellent post! Henry says that after that Nili needs a healthy cookie, and he says for you not to overlook the cookies in the emergency bag. 😀

    • It is so important and it was one of the first things I did when I moved to SF so that I was prepared, checking it is also important as I always say rather be safe than sorry. Tell Henry that there are cookies in the bag LOL and I will give her one BUT he deserves one also. Big hugs to him from Nili.

    • Terry I agree with you we need to be prepared so we can grab our pets a bag and run from whatever disaster. Thank you so much as always for your Thankful Thursday Blog Hop with a woof from Nili

    • Thanks and a to go bag is so important, I always say I can live off bread and water but Nili needs to eat proper LOL. Thanks for your compliment on the video she has so much fun in the park.
