TGIF, Good Morning Friends, Friday has arrived, and I am not sure about you but I need to put my feet up and relax, I am exhausted although Nili is always ready to go out, her batteries are always ready and do not need to be recharged.
Winter has arrived, it has been cold and raining here and I have learned something new about Nili, she does not like the rain BOL but is very good when I put the raincoat on so am relieved that she will wear it and stay dry.
This raincoat belonged to Layla, it is made from a broken umbrella (a friend made for her) and I just love it and so happy it fits Nili as I love recycling
The holidays are around the corner and did you know today is Shop with your Dog Day. Like we need to be reminded LOL but it is a good excuse to go shopping with your dog and of course spoil him or her at the same time. I am sure we all have a list of what we need plus the extra list of what we want, especially for our dogs so let’s go shopping
It will be Nili’s first holiday with me, and I celebrate Hanukkah so am going to spoil her rotten, although she is not spoilt enough already. I was looking at her pile of toys that she has accumulated in less than 4 months and the toy basket is overflowing already plus her can where I store treats if full to the top also but hmmm, I know me I will buy more cos of my guilty conscience.

Nili is a lucky girl! I have a foster dog named Gunther, but unfortunately I can’t buy him things like bones and treats because he has lots of allergies. What I can buy are toys which he absolutely loves. His favourites are the stuffed toys which he shakes and destroys. He recently got a new one and within 5 minutes, I’m not kidding, the poor thing had his legs ripped off, and within 10 he had a hole in his body and the stuffing was being pulled out. Gunther had a great time though!
Gunther is one lucky boy to have you as his foster Mom, I give Nili toys also instead of treats and she kills them LOL. I say as long as she is having fun that is all that counts and it sounds like Gunther is having the time of his life, lucky boy

What a great reminder to shop with your fur kid and to include them in the holidays. Henry loves to go shopping with me. I suspect he thinks all the people are there just to meet and pet him. That’s my “King Henry.” I’m certain Nili will have a memorable holiday for both her and you. How exciting to have your first holiday together. It’s unbelievable that it’s been four months since you adopted her. Have a wonderful week and stay warm. Henry says Nili needs another cookie. 😉
King Henry deserves all the pets and attention from people, he is just so cute. I am at the moment teaching Nili to shop with me as she thinks everything on the shelf is for her LOL. I also cannot believe its four months since she arrived home and she now is the Boss of the House and I bow down to her LOL. It is SO important to include your pets in the holiday fun, Ours love Christmas because they get some turkey, or duck and it is such a treat for them.
A family Christmas is so much better if you include everyone!!

I LOVE taking my dogs shopping! Whether it’s to a pet store or a store for me, Fashionista that I am LOL! When we lived in Phoenix, most of the stores, even Saks 5th Avenue, allowed dogs inside! Icy loved visiting the high end stores and the employees there loved seeing her too! Stores in Florida aren’t as dog welcoming as Phoenix, but few cities are.
I used to love taking Layla shopping with me everywhere but am slowly teaching Nili also and she loves the supermarket LOL, hey she wants to clean the floors. I think it is so important to include them in everything as it makes the life interesting also. Like Icy Layla loved the attention.
