TGIF !!! The weekend has arrived and San Francisco is having Pride Weekend, lots of parades and parties and the city is going to be chaotic. I am not sure if
I will go to any of the events this weekend as little Miss Social Butterfly is exhausted from last weekend including a birthday park for her friends in one of the dog parks.
Plus we have Gidget staying with us this weekend so it is one happy doggy home this weekend.
Last Saturday we went to a birthday party in the Alamo Square dog park for Dash and Storm, both seniors now and it was lots of fun. It was great seeing all our friends, hanging out in the park although it was very windy LOL but worth the windy weather. Troy their father did a fantastic job organizing it all, lots of human snacks, yumm and of course lots of goodies for the pups including little swag bags for them to take home with amazing treats inside. They were all totally spoiled as usual and Storm and Dash were very spoiled.

So now you understand why we lying low this weekend although we will do some regular dog park time for fresh air but we will avoid all the chaos.
As you all know Layla is aging and with age she is becoming a puppy again and starting to do things she has never done, stealing treats from her Uncle’s pocket and this week I caught her sticking her nose in the recycle bin trying to get to the aluminum foil that I had used for cooking. I now must hide things from Madam to keep her safe and healthy. She is becoming a little mischief maker LOL.

Ooh I love the idea of a totally doggy birthday party. Goody bags are a new idea to me but I can get behind treats to take home, and CAKE oooh WOW there was cake!! Sometimes humans don’t have all the fun!
Marjorie I agree with you it was so much fun and the dogs loved the goody bags and cake, they were over spoiled LOL and our food was delicious also. Great way to spend
time in the dog park.
The dog birthday party looks like tons of fun! Sounds like even the dog parents had fun. Kudos to Uncle Troy for doing such a fantastic job planning and executing the party! Have fun with Gidget this weekend! Sleepovers can be fun. But they can be exhausting too. It’s so funny that Layla is finding new ways to keep you on your toes. I hope she minds her ps and qs or paws and tail for a bit to let you rest. Wishing you both a happy and restful Pride week!

this weekend but exhausting for me LOL as it means double dog walking as I cannot walk both of them together. Layla is quite the clown lately and she is keeping me
on my toes but I would not change it for anything. Have a safe week
I’m glad Layla is becoming puppyish again! It’s probably due to all the great food and supplements you give her and all the great mental stimulation she’s been getting! She is quite the doggie socialite, isn’t she? I love it!
Cathy I giggle when she does something puppyish LOL but I worry also as I do not want her to eat anything that is not good for her. Yes she is quite the socialite
but it is exhausting and I need a break from it all LOL. It is good for her though
