Good Morning Friends,
I owe you an apology for being late this week but Mom has been crazy busy and when she does sit down I decide I want to go out, so we are constantly on the move although Mom keeps telling me she is getting old and cannot do it all the time, I still win BOL.
Mom builds her errands around my park time so that I get to see my friends so today I want to introduce you formally to my playmates in the park whom I love to have fun with, as Mom tells me running and playing is good for my figure.
Every morning after breakfast and Moms’ coffee Mom sits down to do whatever is needed till about 11 and then we pack up and go to the park. There we meet up one of my favorite Uncles and his dog Boy Boy. Boy Boy is a wanderer in the park, he loves walking around smelling and rolling in the mud. I always join him and get stinky. Uncle has the best treats, beef jerky yum and I munch till Mean Mom says no more. At the same time another Uncle arrives and I get one from him also. So as Mom says that is my lunch and no more food till dinner.

At about 4 in the afternoon, we go fetch Nigel, and go back to the park. This is also my favorite time as all my friends arrive. Caro who plays with me and we chase each other and tackle. Mocha who loves to run and keeps me running also, and then to end the day Booisey, Paymon and I howl to tell everyone it is time to go home, we sometimes have others join in but it is a great way to end the day.

I then go home tired and hungry, Mom gives me my dinner, and I relax and let Mom eat her dinner. I go for my last walk at about 9 in the evening, Mom cleans my teeth and tells me to go to bed, which I have learnt to do.
So friends that is a day in my neighborhood, like my sister Layla but the only difference is I have new friends she never met unfortunately.

It’s wonderful that you have so many doggie friends! My dogs never really met many – Icy had a few at the dog park but then we stopped going b/c a few idiots brought their aggressive dogs and didn’t care that they went after and scared other dogs. Icy almost got attacked once by a mean dog and clueless owner, but she had a family of Husky friends that stepped in, surrounded and protected her. We never went back. There was one other time in another dog park years later where two dogs ganged up on Icy & were Very rough w/ her when she was about 13 and she was really upset by it – that’s the last time we ever went to a dog park. Jessie is still afraid of other dogs, so no doggie friends for her unfortunately. Nili is so lucky to have friends!
Cathy unfortunately you have bad apples in dog parks, we do too but the plus with my park is there are people that have been going for years with their dogs and we all keep an eye out on each others dogs which makes life so much easier. Plus the small dogs stay away from the big ones which is so much safer.
It’s nice to have a routine, dogs love to know what’s coming next (and so do most people).
I so agree with you especially when she needs to potty, sticking to a routine keeps all things working properly. And yes I need one too
So sweet! We all adjust to our fur kids. It sounds like Nili has a set routine. She’s trained you well. Henry says Nili needs a cookie to keep up with that daily schedule.
Terri being on a routine makes life so easy and she is doing really well with it plus getting lots of exercise. She has me well trained LOL. Cookie for Henry with love from Nili

Dorothy she is having so much fun plus for me it makes me extra happy as she is exhausted when she comes home LOL. I love the daily howling also which has become a daily routine now – the howling hounds, Sending you a big hug from Nili

Marjorie she loves going and running around and it is so good for her as she comes home exhausted and Mom has sore feet LOL. She is living the good life
